The product in the packaging is excellent to be sure but I find the squeeze bottle packaging to be vastly superior to the cans in which sweetened condensed milk is usually sold. Once they're empty, I use them to hold my home-made dark chocolate syrup. Win, win as far as I'm concerned. The only drawback to the packaging is that one can't cook it into dulche de leche but since that's available in cans from Amazon (saving one the trouble of cooking it), I don't think it's any problem at all.
Do yourself a favor and DON'T order this if you tend to eat sweetened condensed milk with a spoon. One taste and you're hooked.
Combine it with Back to Basics Slushie Express and you have the underpinnings of a great beverage. This stuff works great in coffee too. I tried it one day after we ran out of creamer and never looked back.
What evil thing is this." And then I bought it. I was wandering around the international food aisle when this caught my eye. You might not be able to use a whole can of sweetened, condensed milk, but you sure can find lots of uses for a it when it comes in a squeeze bottle. Sweetened, condensed milk in a re-sealable bottle rather than a tin can. I said, "Oh my. I put it in my coffee, in my tea, over my fruit, over my icecream, and then I lick the plate. The really nice thing about this container is that you can turn it upside down so that the nice, cool, sweet goo that is La Lechera is ready to pour whenever you want it.Don't buy this unless you want a new addiction. Seriously.
They should of used this type of bottles for ages. Use to come in tin cans, typically I use it once, and it rots away because there is no good way to store it after opening. Even though this bottle is a bit more costly, but use it, wash it, then buy the tin cans to refill it. Eco friendly and pocket friendly :)
